All Postnatal Yoga classes are baby friendly.
Classes are beneficial for you after giving birth, from 6 weeks to 30 years. Postnatal classes focus on Pelvic Floor and recovering true core strength. Even three years after giving birth, many mamas still feel "weak" or "not themselves." These postnatal classes focus on regaining exactly that. As a Yoga Therapist, Kristen also addresses Birth Trauma, and postpartum depression and anxiety as these issues arise. Classes incorporate preparation for birth as well as developing a connection with you, your body, and your baby. Kristen believes the techniques of focusing the mind in the breath and body brings you into present moment focus, which is where connection happens. Practicing this during pregnancy will enable you to be present to your birth experience, as well as the unexpected arisings that can occur. |
I also offer individual Yoga Therapy sessions for Pregnancy, Birth Preparation, Postpartum, Birth Trauma, and Couples. With Yoga Therapy, you are able to better prepare, feel connected to your baby and your partner, and find the support you need through the tender and challenging transitions towards birth and mothering.
